Education support
We know that for many young people with autism, anxiety can make education feel overwhelming, not because they can't learn, but because the environment doesn't always work for them. At Exploring Pathways, we take the time to understand each person, reduce the pressures that get in the way, and create space where confidence can grow alongside learning.
Asdan Life skills challenges
These activities are all about building the everyday skills that help you feel more confident and capable in your own life. Working towards your ASDAN Life Skills Challenge, we will explore the practical things that give you more independence, from looking after yourself to managing day to day tasks, all at a pace that works for you.
For young people who find formal education overwhelming, whether due to autism, anxiety or anything else that makes traditional classroom settings difficult, these sessions offer a gentler way in. There are no exams, no pressure and no expectation to fit a mould. Just real, meaningful learning in a supportive environment where you can grow at your own pace and celebrate every step forward.
Nola Award
For young people who find traditional education overwhelming, the outdoors offers something a classroom often cannot. Space, fresh air and movement create a calmer setting where confidence can grow naturally. Working towards the National Outdoor Learning Award, these sessions build personal development around six core values: safety, learning, respect, yourself, others and the environment. No exams, no pressure, just real experiences at your own pace.
